Lead Teacher
(part-time)

Pay Rate
$40 - $60/hr
(based on experience)

General Responsibilities
-
Lead and implement social and emotional approach play
-
Supervises all activities within a specific class
-
Oversees the smooth operation of class
-
Willingness to implement changes
Secondary Responsibilities
-
Effectively communicate with parents
-
Supervise and work closely with Teacher's assistant
-
Report and document any incidents or problems in the classroom
-
Collect and store accurate records and attendance of students as established by Teacher's Assistant
-
Directly reports to Program Director
Qualifications
-
Recent Post Grad or Graduate student
(Education, Social Work, Speech Therapy, Occupational therapy, Child therapy preferred but not required)
-
1-3 Years Practical Experience
Special Qualifications
-
Should be able to lift 25 pounds
-
Fully Vaccinated with proof (or willing to get vaccinated)

Own reliable transportation

Teacher's Assistant

(part-time)

Pay Rate
$18 - $30/hr
(based on experience)

General Responsibilities
-
Assist Lead Teacher Leader in implementing social and emotional approach play
-
Thoughtfully interact with students of all ages and abilities in class
-
Assist in classroom management, e.g., de-escalation and mediation of minor disagreements or disturbances
-
Assist in setting up the classroom and cleaning up after dismissal
Secondary Responsibilities
-
Effectively communicate with parents.
-
Passionate about working with kids
-
Report and document any incidents or problems in the classroom

Create and maintain accurate attendance records of students and submit them to the Lead Teacher
-
Reports to the Lead Teacher
Qualifications
-
College Student or Recent College Grad
(Education, English, Communications Degree preferred but not required)
-
1-3 Years Practical Experience
Special Qualifications
-
Should be able to lift 25 pounds
-
