What Our Clients Have To Say

The Build 4 Life Program has been a valuable support to our school community. Under Claudine's leadership, targeted training has empowered our school aides to continue fostering safe, supportive environments for students. The organization has also played a key role in helping students navigate social interactions during recess by introducing positive games and language to guide engagement. Through its enrichment opportunities—rooted in a strong focus on social-emotional learning—Build 4 Life has helped many students develop important skills in self-awareness and interpersonal relationships. The program’s thoughtful and intentional approach has truly strengthened the fabric of our school.

...Claudine and her team have a high ethic of care for supporting students as they navigate the unstructured atmosphere of recess. Her team and the program aimed to improve the social experiences of students at recess by setting targeted and achievable goals for students in the areas of self and social awareness and management. They modeled skills explicitly so students could replicate them independently, worked with faculty and staff to ensure alignment and continuity, and provided clear and consistent communication to school leadership in the form of progress monitoring. Their observations of students and recommendations for next steps were rooted in qualitative data and were actionable and realistic. She frequently checked in with school leadership and ensured a safe and supportive play-based learning environment for our youngest students...

Build4Life has been a powerful addition to our district’s efforts to support students' social-emotional development. The program provides students with meaningful opportunities to build confidence, practice empathy, and develop important life skills, all within the natural context of recess and play. The team's time spent observing our recess periods and offering data-based suggestions has had a significant impact on the way we design and implement recess supervision. As a result, the overall recess experience has greatly improved for both students and staff. The intentional structure of the program supports positive peer interactions and promotes a sense of belonging for all students. I've seen firsthand how Build4Life complements our SEL framework and enhances the overall school climate.  We're grateful to partner with Build4Life and look forward to what lies ahead.
